  Loved seeing all the stuff used to redecorate it especially the ladies lounge! Dining room an elegant experience, food tasty and well presented. Next time I'll book a room.

  Nestled just off the main drag. This is a gem of a hotel. Great staff. Very professional and friendly. Had the pleasure of trying out somecof tjeir meals. AMAZING. Great food that would make the trip alone worthwhile.

  What an absolute delight and surprise to walk into a piece of history. This pub is worth going into just to see the display of old time decor. We had our work Christmas party in the large dining room. The staff were fantastic and very professional. Service was swift. I loved the fact that they brought out our meals and called them out by our names instead of the dish. There was no room for error and wondering what we had ordered. All around the table was nothing but compliments and yum yum yum. Despite a small mishap with my steak, which was quietly and efficiently taken care of, the evening was brilliant. Highly recommended.

  Quaint, but poor social space feel. Disjointed, inefficient for staff who struggled with it. Meal was lacking. Staff pleasant but stressed.

  Food was good but not what ordered and the waitress dropped and ran. Called her back twice and she basically lied. Mistakes can be made. Just apologise. There was absolutely no trace of the garlic butter ordered. Half point deducted for the mistake. Half point for the really poor service and one point lost for the lie.
